The hoagies at a Aversa's bakery are just ridiculous. The bread is so good. The meats are such quality, every time we go to Bridgerton we have to get one. We just love the Italian subs. Atmosphere there is just adorable too!

On a recent trip to Atlantic City we ran over to Brigantine and stumbled on Adversa's Italian Bakery while touring the area. Wow! What a gem and great find! They had many great choices and a variety of baked goods in different sizes. Oh!...And, one last note....Delicious!! With so much to choose from....from the baked goods, breads, homemade pasta, take-home Italian dishes, pizza...to the eclectic menu of deli sandwiches! It was hard to choose. But, while there I spotted this Cherry turnover...pocket pie that was amazing! A buttery flaky crust of tart cherry goodness. This thing was loaded with a juicy, cherry pie filling that was oozing with cherries. While I was there, I spotted some awesome looking Strombolis that I will have to get on my next visit. In all, a unique gem. The service was great and the lady who waited on me was helpful and friendly. The selection of baked goods are outstanding and look so appealing from their glass cases. The presentation is A1. You can tell everything here is artisan baked by hand and with love. This place had a steady flow of traffic and patrons, which spoke for itself. I wish I had a bakery like this near my home. I will definitely be returning when in Atlantic City for sure!

Aversa's is a standard for us. The bread is terrific. Their pastry is excellent. My favorites are spholigatela. They are really good. Their pizza is great for a snack. They make good breakfast sandwiches and their hoagies are really good. They have very traditional Italian hoagies and they make a turkey want fe that is great. We've bought pies and cakes. Pies are very good but I'm not fond of the cakes we tried. Will never stop going

Great spot. Had the roast pork sandwich - I'd recommend warm next time - and some pizza slices. The bread and crust was amazing. Heck of a selection and nicely run place .

Can't come to Brigantine without stopping at Aversa's! Service is quick & friendly. Ambiance is probably a bit overwhelming because they offer so much. We picked up a half (really it's a foot-long) turkey blt for lunch to take to the beach & it was delicious. Perfect roll! Packed to capacity with turkey. A little skimpy on the bacon, but it wasn't even missed. In my previous review they were cash-only, but now take cards with a fee. I will always recommend & return.

We happened to be next door, and recognized the name of the bakery as one that seems to be pretty famous, so we popped in. Since we just ate, we weren't really hungry, but man, I wouldn't be mad if next time we were in the area if we grabbed some of the Italian specialties they had - everything from cookies and pastries to fresh lasagna and meatballs and calzone. And the customers inside were a hoot - an elderly Italian gentleman who kept bumping into me and saying, "Nice to see you again, madam!" I wanted to take him home but my 93 year old mother said NO.

Smallish spot selling a wide variety of baked goods and sandwiches. Bought an assortment of donuts, muffins and cheese turnovers. Service quick for a place that was constantly busy.
